Terms of Service
1. Scope
The website offerfinder.org (the “Site”) is published by Universaldot (“Universaldot”).
Universaldot operates a site where users create an account to access discount offers (the “Offers”).
Offers are available through free plans or paid plans (the “Plan(s)”) and apply to products (“Merchant Products”) sold by third-party affiliates (the “Partners”).
Together, the platform, plans, and offers are the “Service(s)” covered by these Terms and Conditions.
The Service is intended for legal entities or individuals acting in a commercial, industrial, artisanal, self-employed, or agricultural capacity.
Users must be able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions govern the user agreement between the User and Universaldot for use of OfferFinder.org.
The Terms and Conditions override any other documents on this subject.
They represent the full agreement between the parties, and no separate user conditions apply unless expressly agreed in writing.
The Terms in effect on the registration date apply to each user account.
Universaldot may update the Terms or the Service and will provide notice of material changes.
Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance, and Users may terminate by email before the effective date.
If a paid subscription is terminated due to a material change, Universaldot will refund unused prepaid amounts on a pro rata basis.
2. Description of the Service
The Site lets Users register for an account and access Offers on Partners’ websites to purchase specific Merchant Products.
Some Offers are available through the Free Plan, while others require an annual subscription to a Paid Plan.
Multiple Paid Plan tiers may be offered, and each plan may unlock different Offers.
The following information is provided to Users on the Site:
- The main features of each Plan including their duration, the Offers available through each Plan and any additional services provided;
- The applicable prices for each Paid Plan;
- The description of each Offer and any eligibility conditions;
- How the User can use each Offer with the Partner concerned.
Certain Offers have eligibility conditions set by the Partner.
Universaldot may verify eligibility before granting access and is not responsible if an Offer is refused for ineligibility.
No refund is issued when access is denied due to Partner eligibility rules.
Universaldot provides the Service but does not resell Merchant Products.
These Terms do not govern transactions between Users and Partners, and Universaldot is not liable for Partner actions or product conformity.
Users are responsible for their choice of Plan and Offer, and registrations and subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.
Universaldot aims to publish accurate Offer descriptions, but does not guarantee completeness or error-free content.
Offers and descriptions may change, and Users will be notified of material updates.
Affiliate Disclosure:Users should assume links to Partner websites may be affiliate links.
If a User clicks an affiliate link and makes a purchase, Universaldot may earn a commission at no additional cost to the User.
This does not affect the objectivity of the OfferFinder offers or information provided.
3. Registration Process
To access the Service, the User must create an account and accept these Terms via checkbox.
The registration form requires accurate, complete, and current information, and Universaldot may request confirmation of details.
Users affiliated with third-party partners (for example, incubators) should enter the partner code to access specific Offers.
Universaldot may deny or terminate accounts for valid reasons and refund unused prepaid amounts when applicable.
The User must choose a secure password and update it if compromised.
Users may not share, transfer, or create multiple accounts, and a confirmation email is sent after registration.
4. Duration
4.1 For Paid Plans: Subscriptions are for one year and renew annually unless terminated with one day's notice before the renewal date. Terminating a Paid Plan does not delete the user account.
4.2 For Free Plan: Free Offers are available for the period stated on the Site. The User may close their account at any time by contacting Universaldot.
4.3 Termination: Either party may terminate if the other breaches these Terms and fails to cure the breach within 30 days of written notice.
5. Prices and Payment
Paid Plan prices are listed on the Site, excluding applicable taxes.
Users pay via credit card or PayPal, and subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Universaldot will email a confirmation and invoice after payment.
Universaldot may change prices or services, and updates take effect after the notice period described in Section 1.
6. Personal Data
Universaldot processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy on the Site.
By registering an account, you agree that Universaldot may collect and use your data to send newsletters, promotional offers, and marketing communications.
These communications follow applicable data protection laws, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
7. Force Majeure
In case of a force majeure event under Dutch law, obligations will be suspended. If the event lasts over 30 days or permanently prevents performance, either party may terminate the Terms by written notice. Universaldot will refund unused prepaid sums where applicable.
8. Intellectual Property
The OfferFinder.org brand, trademarks, and all content on the Site are owned or licensed by Universaldot. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or use the content or trademarks for commercial purposes.
Universaldot grants Users a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site and its content solely for internal business purposes, subject to compliance with these Terms.
9. Liability
Each party is liable only for direct, foreseeable damages resulting from a breach of these Terms. Universaldot is not liable for indirect damages, including loss of data or profits.
Universaldot’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the User in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Links
The Site may contain links to external websites, including those of Partners. Universaldot is not responsible for their content.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest remain in force. The failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. Invalid clauses will be replaced to preserve the intent of the original.
